M&M's store, near Leicester Square, in London, is the ultimate chocolateland!! Everything smells, looks and feels like chocolate ahah Do you know those colourful guys on the M&M's packs? They've been changing looks since 1941!!! Can you imagine what the M&M looked like throughout the years? Can you image how's gonna be the "M&M's reality in 100 years from now? ahah Well, inside this store you'll find all sorts of shapes and colours and that will help you wonder on that for sure!
Besides the red gard and the blue mega-rich-guy, we saw this yellow soldier and the queen green. These colourful characters are all over that 'don'tevenknowhowmanyfloorsbutudge'-store!!! :) And even The Beatles are represented (Mãe, os da primeira foto, lá atrás, são os Beatles!!!).
After a long walk from Bolsover St to Great Portland St, to Regest's St to Leicester Sq to Oxford St, to Nespresso store (rrrr!!!), to ChinaTown, to Picadilly Circus, to Ed's Diner (nhamm!!), to Soho, to Covent Garden... we finally got to Bella Italia, this little cute italian restaurant and we decided to step in. But!.. as we found it didn't have more tables downstairs, we thought we'd go somewhere else... Oh well, we didn't even get to the end of the road until we got back in. One pizza and one pasta, please!
Right next to us was Kevin (that old guy you can still see over there!). He was a 51-year-old retired-(since April)-businessman who decided to take some time off to travel after he left his company with his former employees.
As any other american aorund his age would do, he asked us about our career goals and how we would decribe Portugal in 10 sentences... ahahah Oh well... there's a lot to say! But obviously he wanted to speak more than he wanted to know what we had to say. In the end, it's always inspiring to speak with these american dreamers and, above all, it's always inspiring to speak with these fellow travelers!!
That he was rich and didn't really know what to do with so much money... well, that we should have guessed since the first moment he sat on that table next to ours... but that he was going to pay our dinner for those 15 minutes of chating... that was a new story! Thank you Kevin. We'll see you around.
